it's a stupid reason to fire a person.
having a "difference in opinion"
just means that a person is thinking
having a "difference in opinion"
just means that the person is in fact effective
if he didn't want a manager to have a
"difference in opinion"
then he should have hired a secretary
not a manager!
or maybe someone who would bend over
when he asked!
the manager and i had numerous instances
where we had "differences in opinion"
he always wanted things "comprehensive"
while i preferred them "mainstreamed"
he thought reports were better "inclusive"
while i often made them "focused."
he believed "more was good"
while i was adamant that "less was more"
he was always prim and proper
while i was unconventional and rebellious
we had our arguements
but as long as we got the work done
having a "difference in opinion"
didn't matter
becuase the work was done
and the work was good
because our "differences in opinion"
scourged the weaknesses in the other
that makes a good manager
not the ego-manic ASS who fired him.
but i guess i'm next in line to get the boot
becuase i believe he shouldn't have been fired
for having a "difference in opinion"
well he can fire My Ass
because i will always have
a "difference in opinion"
